About Me
My name is Vanildo Santos, and for a long time I was exactly the kind of person who rolled my eyes at electric cars.
I believed the “classic myths”:
that the battery would last 4–5 years and then become a financial nightmare 💸
that the car would need to sit charging for 16 hours 🔌
that charging at home required a massive, expensive electrical overhaul 🧱
and that, in the end, EVs were more “marketing” than reality
But then something changed: I started doing real research. I watched tests, read reports, reviewed technical analyses and real-world numbers — and, most importantly, I understood where the market is actually heading. After that, repeating the same “ready-made truths” just wasn’t possible anymore.
That’s how Ev’s Reviews was born.
Why This Site Exists
Ev’s Reviews is an editorial, opinion-driven digital magazine about electric vehicles and the ecosystem around them.
The mission is simple:
To deliver clear, practical, and honest information for:
✅ people who still feel unsure or intimidated because of the myths
✅ EV owners who want to live better with their car (parts, accessories, charging, safety)
✅ enthusiasts who want grounded comparisons and real-world analysis ⚡
We don’t write to defend brands. We write to defend the driver.
What You’ll Find Here
Comparisons (price, real-world range, charging, features, and “who it makes sense for”)
Practical guides (home charging, EVSEs, electrical protection, accessories) 🔧
Editorial articles that cut through hype and recycled narratives (on both sides) 👀
Clear opinions — no fake neutrality
Golden rule: deep content without being exhausting.
How We Evaluate and Talk About EVs
I always aim to:
focus on what matters in real life (not just spec sheets)
separate “lab range” from real-world range
present pros and cons honestly
be clear when the best choice depends on your profile, usage, and infrastructure
One important note: whenever the topic involves electrical installation, I always reinforce this: hire a qualified electrician. Safety comes first.
Transparency: Affiliate Links & Monetization
To keep the project running, Ev’s Reviews may use affiliate links (for example: Amazon, Mercado Livre).
This means that if you purchase through those links, I may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
That does not buy opinions.
Whenever an affiliate link is used, I indicate it within the content. Full transparency.
